This policy explains what information Sparpit collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Sparpit is free to play, supported by optional ads and in-app purchases — this policy also covers the data those involve. We collect the minimum needed to run a fair multiplayer game and we do not sell your data.
Account details: your username, email address (optional for guests), and avatar colors. Gameplay data: matches, moves, results, ratings, XP, coins, cosmetics, achievements, and daily-challenge progress. Social data: your friends list, friend requests, and in-match chat messages. Purchase records: which in-app products you own — never your payment card details. Advertising identifiers: when ads are enabled, your device’s advertising ID may be processed by our advertising partner (see section 6). Technical basics: the connection data needed to deliver the service, such as your IP address during requests.
If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name (if you share it), your email address, and a provider account identifier so we can recognize you next time. We never see your Google or Apple password. With Apple you can choose Hide My Email, in which case we only receive a private relay address.
We use your information to run the game: signing you in, matching you with opponents, keeping score, showing leaderboards, powering friends and chat, delivering the cosmetics and purchases you own, and responding to support requests. Aggregate, non-identifying statistics may be used to improve game balance.
Your username, avatar, level, title, rating, match statistics, and online status are visible to other players in matches, on leaderboards, and in friends lists. Your email address and purchases are never shown to other players.
Sparpit shows optional rewarded videos and occasional interstitial ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, AdMob may process your device’s advertising identifier and approximate location derived from your IP address. Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA and UK), you are asked for consent before personalized ads are shown, and on iOS your App Tracking Transparency choice is respected — declining means you see non-personalized ads instead. Buying Remove Ads permanently disables interstitial ads. Google’s own practices are described at policies.google.com/privacy.
In-app purchases are processed by Apple’s App Store or Google Play — we never receive your payment card details. We use RevenueCat to validate purchases and keep them in sync across your devices; RevenueCat receives your purchase receipt and an identifier tied to your Sparpit account. Refunds follow the store’s policies.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the infrastructure providers that host the service, the advertising and purchase partners described above, and when the law requires it.
We keep your information for as long as your account exists. Deleting your account in Settings removes your profile, identities, tokens, friends, chat messages, and match participation permanently. Records of matches you played against others may remain in anonymized form so their history stays intact.
Passwords are stored only as strong one-way hashes, sign-in tokens are short-lived and rotated, and connections to our servers are authenticated. No system is perfectly secure, but we design for the failure cases.
Sparpit is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them or show them personalized ads. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, contact us and we will delete it.
If this policy changes materially we will let you know in the app. For any privacy question or request, contact support@sparpit.com.
